CUMBRIA BIRD CLUB

Recording of birds in Cumbria is led by the Cumbria Bird Club, who also liaise with the British Trust for Ornithology on national recording projects.

The club organises talks and other activities and is actively working on a diverse range of projects including a county avifauna, supported by CBDC. With other societies through Cumbria Naturalists Union, the Club publishes a detailed annual report Birds and Wildlife in Cumbria each year. For more information please explore the CBC website:

Where shall I send my bird records?

Advise on submitting bird records including rarities can be found at:

http://www.cumbriabirdclub.org.uk/reporting

Records may also be sent to CBDC using the usual routes and are made available to the Bird Club for the annual report via the area bird recorders.

CBDC and Cumbria Bird Club are working together on sharing the existing records..
