Welcome to the Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre

Volunteering

We welcome enquiries from people interested in volunteering with us.

Volunteer Biological Data Processor

One of the key tasks is to digitise paper records from notebooks, historical documents, record cards and recording sheets. This requires attention to detail and an interest in species recording, and is a great way to get familiar with the wildlife of Cumbria.
